Destinations factfiles

Over the years club members have built up a lot of knowledge on various climbing destinations. Tips on travel arrangements, guidebooks available etc. can make or break a trip. This page contains factfiles to make organising trips easier. They are written from the perspective of a student (i.e. broke) climber based in Dublin. The information should be orrect but there are no guarantees, you are responsible for yourself.

Email us if you would like to add a factfile or if you spot an error in one of them. To help you write factfiles there is a template here. But feel free to ignore it!

Dublin University Climbing Club recognises that rock climbing, mountaineering and hillwalking are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. The club strongly promotes the ethic that individuals involved in these activities must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and personal involvement
